We’ve all got our routines… hair washing, skin care, cooking, meditation, etc. It’s our way to care lovingly for our bodies and minds- our self-care! But have you ever thought about including breast care as part of your routine? You may be thinking wtf, but it’s actually essential for breast health! Being aware is the first step to boobcare- the more we know them, the better! We’ll dig into breast care ranging from massages to oils to simple self-exams for healthy breasts.
Let’s start with something easy.. Did you know that letting your boobs move gently has some pretty great health benefits? When you do movements and your boobs go up and down, it’s actually stimulating lymphatic fluid flow. What’s lymphatic blood flow you ask? Your lymphatic system is a network of vessels throughout your body. They have the essential job of removing toxins and fluid waste from your lovely body. Without it, toxins and fluid build-up, opening the door to infections. Ugh! By allowing your boobs to move, your lymphatic system can clear all that negative crap out. So don’t be afraid to embrace the bounce!
Another plus to boob movement is that contrary to what you may think, movement can actually prevent sagging. By increasing blood flow to the boob, you are making the tissue stronger!! If you cut off the blood flow, sagging may come quicker. I’d like to clarify: boobs that sag are normal and beautiful. Nothing’s gonna stop gravity from doing its thing and there’s no reason to stop it. But you don’t need to force yourself into bras in hopes of keeping perkiness. Because it may be doing the opposite!!!
Here’s where Nuudii comes in. Because Nuudii is not a bra, your boobs can move freely. Nuudii lets boobs exist exactly as they are, unlike underwire bras that constrict the gals. And the list of boob massage benefits goes on and on! Simply put, let’s give the boobs a little TLC. Disclaimer these boob massage suggestions are not intended for medical treatment! I am not a doctor and am just giving some tips and tricks for “breast massage how-to”. To give yourself a boob massage, first, apply a massage oil or lotion of your choosing (if you keep reading, I have an oil suggestion ;) Then, gently rub your boobs in circular motions with different amounts of pressure. Don’t forget to show love to the surrounding areas, like your armpits and neck. Again, these are just instructions for a simple breast massage! To really concentrate on lymphatic drainage, move clockwise on the right boob and counterclockwise on the left. This follows the direction of lymphatic flow! For more specific massages, ask a pro :) No matter what you’re doing, make sure you’re comfortable and adjust the pressure as needed.
